How do you ensure the chile stays fresh during shipping?
Our fresh chile is picked to order and shipped via expedited delivery in insulated containers with cold packs. Frozen products are shipped with dry ice to maintain their quality and temperature during transit.
Is your chile authentic New Mexico Hatch Chile?
Yes, all our chile is grown in the Hatch Valley of New Mexico. We are certified by the New Mexico Chile Association to use the 'Hatch' name, ensuring you receive the genuine heritage flavor.
What heat levels do you offer?
We offer a wide range of heat levels to suit every palate, including Mild, Medium, Hot, and X-Hot. Please note that heat levels can vary slightly by harvest due to natural growing conditions.
Do you offer returns on food items?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot accept returns. However, if your order arrives damaged or spoiled, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos so we can issue a replacement or refund.
When is the fresh Hatch Chile season?
Fresh Hatch Chile season typically runs from late July through early September. Outside of this window, we offer flame-roasted frozen chile and dried chile products year-round.
How should I store my chile once it arrives?
Fresh chile should be roasted, peeled, and frozen within 24 hours of arrival. Frozen chile should be placed immediately in your freezer, where it will maintain peak flavor for up to 12 months.
